Corporate Responsibility
Creating a Sustainable Future Together
At Cicor, compliance and sustainability are essential to how we operate. We take responsibility for our actions, uphold high standards and contribute to long-term value for people, planet and business.
Cicor integrates sustainability and compliance principles across its entire business. Social responsibility, environmental stewardship and regulatory compliance are deeply embedded in our corporate structure and strategic focus areas as part of the Cicor 2028 strategy. This is reflected in our sustainability strategy, which defines clear priorities and measurable goals.
Our compliance and sustainability program addresses a broad range of legal, ethical and environmental requirements relevant to our operations worldwide. It is built on the Employee Code of Conduct and the Business Partner Code of Conduct and is complemented by topic-specific policies. Together, these frameworks promote transparency, accountability and alignment across all areas of the Group.
Webinar: Improve Sustainability and Data Accuracy in EMS
Reliable environmental data is key to predicting and reducing the carbon footprint of electronic products. Yet, measuring the environmental impact in electronics has long been a complex and time-consuming task. At Cicor, we’ve changed that by implementing a solution from banyan.eco, a sustainability platform tailored to the electronics industry.
On 27 May 2025, Cicor and banyan.eco will share best practices in environmental data management for the EMS industry in a joint webinar.
Environmental

Towards a balanced and sustainable carbon footprint
Cicor is committed to reducing its environmental impact in line with the goals of the Paris Agreement. In 2024, Cicor established a comprehensive emissions baseline across Scopes 1, 2, and 3, significantly improving the quality and consistency of group-wide emissions data. This strengthened the foundation for transparent environmental reporting and supports Cicor’s ongoing efforts to reduce and balance its carbon footprint.
Cicor’s approach to climate change mitigation focuses on lowering greenhouse gas emissions by transitioning to renewable energy sources and improving energy efficiency through advanced technologies.
By addressing climate change mitigation and climate adaptation together, Cicor acknowledges the interconnected environmental and financial impact of climate change and acts accordingly to safeguard both its environmental and business performance.

Social

A culture of fairness, equality and respect
Cicor's culture emphasises equality, fairness and respect as the foundation for personal growth. These values guide how we engage with employees, business partners, shareholders and society at large. Our people are key to our success, and we are committed to supporting their development, well-being and inclusion across all levels of the organisation.
The Employee Code of Conduct defines our principles and expectations for ethical and responsible behaviour. It reflects our commitment to being a fair, reliable and socially responsible employer. All employees are encouraged to contribute actively to a culture of shared values and accountability.
We uphold a strict zero-tolerance policy for violations of fundamental rights. This includes any form of discrimination, child labour or abuse of human rights. Our Statements on Human Rights and Child Labour and our Statement on Discrimination reaffirm this commitment and form part of our transparency as a global employer.
Cicor also expects the same level of responsibility from its partners. Social responsibility in the supply chain is essential to meeting our quality and compliance standards. Supplier relationships are based on adherence to the Business Partner Code of Conduct and are continuously monitored and strengthened through active supplier management.

Governance

Integrity and Accountability
Compliance with laws, regulations, and standards is deeply ingrained in our corporate culture, shapes our decisions and actions across all business areas and ensures that we operate with integrity, transparency and accountability. Cicor uses a proactive approach to risk assessment to identify compliance gaps early and take corrective measures where needed. This is supported by regular employee training, group-wide ESG scoring, and internal audits to maintain a high standard of conduct.
Regulatory and Quality Standards
Our activities in highly regulated sectors such as medical, industrial, aerospace and defence are subject to strict legal and quality requirements. Cicor maintains robust processes to ensure full compliance with international and national regulations (e.g., dual-use legislation, the Mine Ban Treaty, the Biological Weapons Convention, etc.). In the defence and dual-use sectors, we implement particularly stringent measures to avoid legal or ethical violations.
Compliance with Sanctions and Export Control Regulations
Cicor also enforces a comprehensive export compliance framework. This includes policies and procedures designed to identify and manage sanctions, export bans and licensing obligations at an early stage. Our operations are aligned with country-specific export control laws and are supported by automated screening against sanctions lists. See our General Statement on Sanctions Lists for more details.
Corruption and Bribery
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy on corruption and bribery. This is clearly outlined in our Statement on Corruption and Bribery, which forms part of our broader governance commitment.

Report a Concern
Compliance with our standards, legal regulations and internal policies is of the utmost priority. As a company, we recognise our responsibility to society and the environment as part of our business activities. We aim to be a reliable and fair business partner and employer. To meet this standard, it is essential that we are made aware of potential misconduct. Only then can we take appropriate measures to protect everyone involved in our organisation.
Cicor has established a whistleblower system that allows employees, customers and all other stakeholders of the Group to report compliance violations and concerns. The whistleblower system - the Cicor Integrity Line - is available to all stakeholders of the Cicor Group. Concerns and other reports can be shared through the following channels. All reports can also be submitted anonymously.

Our Cicor Integrity Line Policy guarantees the highest level of protection for whistleblowers, affected persons and employees involved in investigating reported misconduct.
Retaliation against whistleblowers or employees who contribute to upholding integrity at Cicor is not tolerated. We emphasise that no form of discrimination against individuals who report violations will be accepted, even if the suspicion proves to be unfounded after investigation—provided the report was not made maliciously.
All investigations are handled in strict confidence. Information is processed fairly, promptly and with full respect for the rights of all parties involved.
