High end measurement system for the PCB manufacturing site in Boudry (CH)

As Printed Circuit Boards are getting more complicated and feature sizes are decreasing, process control and compliance with tolerances are getting more  important. To get aligned with these requirements and the increasing demand for quality reporting, Cicor has invested in a high end measurement system from the Austrian manufacturer Impex Leiterplatten GmbH. The modular measurement system ProX3 is equipped with a high precision CCD camera system and a high speed scanning module. The high speed scanning system will be used for measurements of drilled through holes and contours of PCBs, while the CCD system will improve the capabilities to measure etched pattern and various other features on our products. The metrology system QC5000 will be used for statistical process control and enables Cicor to create quality reports automatically.
