Zurich, November 26, 2014 – Cicor (SIX Swiss Exchange: CICN), an international high-tech industrial group and leader in the fields of printed circuit boards, microelectronics and electronic solutions, headquartered in Boudry (Switzerland), announced today that it has been awarded a major contract by the Kärcher Group for the complete manufacture of modules for high-pressure cleaning systems for end consumers. In a first phase, the contract volume for the control systems will amount to close to 10 million Swiss francs. The majority of the related order intake will come in 2015.
Kärcher is a world leader in efficient, resource-conserving cleaning equipment, including auxiliary equipment and customized cleaning and care products.

The Cicor Group will oversee the entire control system manufacturing process, from toolmaking to plastic injection molding, electronics production and assembly. The contract will be fulfilled at several of the Cicor Group's production sites in Europe and Asia. The key factors behind the awarding of the contract to the Cicor Group were a logistics concept tailored to the customer's requirements with short delivery times and a high level of delivery readiness and the Group's many years of experience in all areas of the production chain.
