Zurich, May 24 2012 – The Cicor Group (SIX Swiss Exchange: CICN), a leading high-tech industrial group with registered office in Boudry (Switzerland) internationally active in printed circuit boards, microelectronics and electronic solutions, is securing large-volume projects for its PCB Division with new customers in America, Asia and Europe. The new orders underscore the operational efficiency of the PCB Division following the consolidation in its Swiss sites and streamlining of operational processes.
Cicor's PCB Division in Switzerland successfully completed its integration process and merger of its manufacturing capacities at the Boudry and Moudon (Cicorel SA) sites. The Division took the opportunity to boost its operational efficiency, which will have a positive effect on operating margins in the first six months of the current fiscal year. As announced earlier, the related restructuring costs were charged in full to the 2011 fiscal year. The planned sale of the Photochemie property in Unterägeri will be concluded over the next two months.
Cicor Group on course
Cicor announced the receipt of major orders at the end of March. It now confirms that it is consolidating its market position and tailoring its organisation to changing customer expectations in the PCB Division. The new orders support the Group's stated strategic intent, namely to continue the organic growth through additional acquisitions of large-volume projects and to leverage all of the know-how available within the Group.
