X-Ray Manufacturing Operator - Late Shift

The X Ray operator role will be responsible for operating X ray inspection equipment to evaluate the quality of SMT PCB assemblies. The role focuses on identifying hidden defects such as solder voids, bridges, head in pillow, insufficient solder, and internal component issues that cannot be detected by AOI or visual inspection. 

Main Duties:

  • Inspect to AS9102 standard
  • Generate/Run automated routines
  • Ensure you are familiar with the department’s output production targets
  • Input and preparation of process control documentation
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and update databases to meet the requirements of the quality management system
  • Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process
  • Maintain to the highest level workmanship and product standards, and ensure no scrap is create

Person Specification:

  • Have an enthusiastic and proactive approach to all tasked work
  • Have good attention to detail and the ability to produce quality work in line with production deadlines
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to contribute to a team environment
  • Can work on own initiative
  • Be willing to learn and take on board new skills
