Expertise and Services
PCB Assembly
The Cicor site in Dresden specialises in high-precision SMT and THT production with state-of-the-art equipment. SMT capabilities include a fully automated in-line printer with solder paste inspection, supporting fine pitch assembly down to 0.3mm, μBGA up to 0.35mm and chip sizes down to 01005 (0.4 × 0.2mm). The site operates 10 SMD placement machines and three nitrogen reflow systems, ensuring high quality soldering with a maximum width of 500mm.
For THT production, we offer automatic cutting, bending, crimping and manual assembly, with nitrogen wave soldering handling PCBs up to 440 × 390 mm. The facility also includes a dual port selective wave soldering system and barcode controlled soldering programmes for precision and traceability.
We are also equipped with SMD and BGA rework stations and advanced depaneling solutions, ensuring seamless quality control at every stage of production.
Box Building
We offer high-precision box building and system assembly, with product-specific assembly workstations tailored to customer requirements. The facility provides functional testing for quality assurance and configuration management for efficient customisation. In addition, Dresden supports clean room assembly, meeting stringent industry standards for sensitive electronics manufacturing.
Engineering Services
Cicor's Dresden site offers comprehensive engineering services, including hardware and software development, PCB design and mechanical engineering. The facility ensures compliance with the IEC 60601 and IEC 61010 product safety standards and delivers high-quality solutions for demanding electronic applications.
