Expertise and Services
PCB Assembly
The Cicor site in Dresden specialises in high-precision SMT and THT production using state-of-the-art equipment. Its SMT capabilities include a fully automatic inline printer with solder paste inspection, which supports fine-pitch assembly up to 0.3 mm, μBGA up to 0.35 mm and chips up to a size of 01005 (0.4 × 0.2 mm). The site has ten SMD placement machines and three nitrogen reflow systems, which ensure high soldering quality with a maximum width of 500 mm.
For THT production, the site offers automatic cutting, bending and crimping, as well as manual assembly and nitrogen wave soldering for printed circuit boards with a maximum size of 440 × 390 mm. The facility also includes a dual-port selective wave soldering system and barcode-controlled soldering programmes for precision and traceability.
In addition, the site is equipped with SMD and BGA rework stations and advanced panel separation solutions that ensure seamless quality control at every stage of production.
Box Building
The Dresden site offers high-precision box building and system assembly with product-specific assembly workstations tailored to customer requirements. The facility has functional tests for quality assurance and configuration management for efficient customisation. In addition, Dresden supports clean room assembly that meets the strict industry standards for sensitive electronics manufacturing.
