Zurich, 19 November 2012 – The Electronic Solutions Division of the Cicor Group (SIX Swiss Exchange: CICN), a leading and internationally active high-tech industrial group in the field of circuit boards, microelectronics and electronic solutions based in Boudry (Switzerland), today announced that it has been awarded another blanket order from Albis Technologies for the manufacture of telecommunications products. This new blanket order will last three years and involves a supply volume of more than CHF 30 million.
The order recognises Cicor as the sole manufacturer of telecommunications components for the Albis Technologies ULAF+ product line. In addition to their production, Cicor will also provide a global repair service for all products. The order will be executed in the two main production plants of the Electronic Solutions Division, Arad (Romania) and Bronschhofen (Switzerland).
Albis Technologies is a leading and globally active supplier for telecommunication network providers in the areas of business client networks, mobile backhaul and IPTV set-top boxes. It also offers development services for clients on the Swiss market and neighbouring countries. This latest deal further strengthens the long-standing collaboration and technology partnership between the two companies. The other decisive factors that won Cicor the order were its coordinated logistics concept with short delivery times and high capacities, and the Electronic Solution Division's many years of experience in electronics production and box building.
