The order comes from Geberit, the European market leader and global player in the area of sanitary technology, and covers production of Geberit’s new touchless toilet control Sigma80. Working closely together with Geberit at the Electronic Solutions Division production site in Bronschhofen, Cicor set up the special processes that will guarantee compliance with state-of-theart quality standards during production. The manufacturing of this product, which meets the very highest design, hygiene and convenience standards, covers materials, printed circuit board assembly, final assembly, complete functional testing and full package assembly.
The wealth of experience of Cicor’s Electronic Solutions Division in the area of Electronic Manufacturing Solutions, their specific expertise in designing functional tests as well as close, long-term collaboration with the customer made it possible to successfully launch Sigma80 in spring 2012 after just 15 months’ development time.
