Position Overview:
The Quality Inspector will play a critical role in ensuring incoming components and products meet ERP, industry, and customer-specific standards. This position involves detailed inspections, documentation, and reporting to maintain high-quality standards and seamless production workflows. This role demands attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming components and product against ERP, industry, and customer specific requirements.
- Basic dimensional verification of product using various measuring devices
- Checking of traceability requirements and documentation
- Checking and inputting of product shelf life
- Checking chemicals for compliance, shelf life, and CofC documentation
- Use of electronic measurement equipment to determine compliance against customer drawings.
- Raising and maintaining quality documentation
- Raising defect reports for non-conforming product
- Lisasing with purchasing to obtain RMA for non-conforming product
- Working to tight deadlines to ensure continuous supply to production demand
- Maintaining the defect database
- First off inspection

Competency
- A minimum of 5 Grade C+ GCSE’s
- Good Communication skills, both verbally, and written
- Good interpersonal/ relationship building skills
- Good understanding of components and product, electrical and mechanical
- Excellent attention to detail
- Numerate
- Ability to show proactiveness rather than reactiveness
Qualifications/Skills/Personal Qualities – DESIRABLE
- Ability to work in team orientated environment but also being able to demonstrate results working independently.
- Basic understanding of electronic manufacturing.
- Previous inspection experience or similar quality role
- PCB inspection qualified
