Key Responsibilities
- Analysis of customer and R&D team requirements and consulting for new test system.
- Support in calculation of customer and R&D team development testing projects
- Plan for equipment and manpower utilization to meet testing indices
- Support production team and customer to run new test system (Initial operation and verification of the new test system)
- Communication with the customer & Sub-project management
- Facilitate continuous improvement on process simplification, labor productivity and cost reduction for testing.
- Work closely with Engineers to ensure a smooth and successful introduction of new products to manufacturing
- Manage the growth of subordinates, identify, and retain key talent
- Supervise a group of manufacturing testing operators and technicians in daily routines to meet departmental goals
- Project controlling (cost, timeline)
- Documentation for all phases of projects (requirements, design specifications, verification, etc.)
- Any other duties as and when required by Engineering Services Manager.
Qualifications
- Experience in EMS, Electronics Manufactory (min. 3 years) in the industrial field
- Results-oriented, flexibility and traveling availability
- Passionate customer focus
- Team player
- Comprehensive electronics knowledge in different fields (analog and digital circuits, embedded systems, Arduino, NI LabVIEW…)
- Advanced knowledge in schematic design
- Knowledge of product development processes
- (Basic) experience in firmware driver development
- Knowledge of electronics measuring and test equipment
- Knowing English is an advantage
- Engineering degree in electronics [BSc]
- Knowledge of conformity testing (CE, UL, FDA, etc.) is a plus
- Experience in one of the following industries: medical, consumer, automotive is a plus
- Knowledge of Safety Standards such as IPC 610
