The Cicor site in Batam is a high-end manufacturer of precision plastic molded parts and mechanical assemblies for mainly medical and industrial customers.
The site is strategically located in Batam, which is just one hour away from Cicor site in Singapore. In combination with Singapore the site offers tool design and fabrication, plastic injection molding, vertically integrated secondary processes, assembly services and latest technology of spray paint processes. The production site has state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and total 1’200 m2 clean rooms (ISO class 7) for injection molding, assembly and packaging. The clean rooms are validated for RTU (ready-to-use) medical applications.
Competencies and Services
Plastic Injection Molding
With a wide range of machines from 20 to 300 tonnes, they can handle both small and medium-sized plastic components with precision. They specialise in high precision, thin wall and insert molding, enabling the creation of complex geometries and the integration of additional components into tight tolerance plastic parts.
Their 2K moulding technology allows the combination of two different materials or colours in a single component, enhancing product functionality and design flexibility. They also operate ISO Class 7 clean room moulding and packaging, ensuring that sensitive products meet the highest standards of hygiene and contamination control, particularly for the medical and electronics industries.
They also use a fully automated spray painting line to provide additional value-added services for parts requiring protective coatings or aesthetic finishes. The Ready to Use (RTU) production process ensures that products are fully assembled and ready for use on completion.
Box Building
Our Box Building services include complete device assembly, ensuring correct integration of components. We offer coating, potting, and bonding technologies like gluing for specific assembly needs. Precise marking and labeling options, such as laser marking and pad printing, ensure accurate identification and branding. To ensure product reliability, we perform functional, environmental, and burn-in tests, and provide customized packaging solutions tailored to each product.
