Balanced and Reduced Carbon Footprint

“We actively contribute to a sustainable future with a reduced and balanced CO₂ footprint in line with the goals of the Paris Agreement.”

As a company, we aim to create and support a reduced and balanced CO₂ footprint with goals aligned with the Paris Agreement. In 2024, Cicor achieved significant improvement in its environmental reporting system. By establishing its emissions baseline in 2024 across all three scopes, Cicor will further strengthen its future environmental strategy and align with its 2025 sustainability goals.

Our Path to a Reduced CO Footprint

As part of Scope 2, we aim to increase our share of renewable energy by 5% annually. In 2024, the Cicor Group reported a renewable energy share of 29.2%. For 2025, we aim to deepen our sustainability goals and demonstrate reduction targets across Scopes 1 and 3.

Our suppliers play a critical role in meeting our commitments and standards. To deliver high-quality products and services to our customers, we systematically evaluate our suppliers. Governance

Adherence to Legal Standards

Compliance with laws, regulations, and standards is a cornerstone of our business practices. Our commitment to legal compliance is deeply ingrained in our corporate culture and guides our decisions and actions to ensure integrity, transparency, and accountability. Our proactive risk assessment approach helps us identify gaps early and take appropriate action. Regular training, updates for our employees, and internal audits within our group-wide ESG scoring ensure compliance.

Regulatory and Quality Standards

Our services in the fields of medical, industrial, aerospace, and defense require higher regulatory and quality standards. Cicor has processes and policies in place to meet these requirements. Assessments in each area of our services allow us to continuously improve. We ensure that our services and products meet all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. This includes compliance with product safety regulations, environmental regulations, and other applicable requirements.

Requirements in Defense and Dual-Use

Our activities in the defense and dual-use sectors are subject to strict measures and standards. The company faces numerous laws and requirements associated with the defense/dual-use sector and aerospace. Stringent processes help us avoid violations of international and national legal requirements (e.g., dual-use legislation, anti-personnel mine ban treaty, biological weapons convention, etc.). Our Defense and Dual-Use Statement provides detailed information on our measures.

Compliance with Sanctions and Export Control Regulations

Our internal processes and regulations aim to identify sanctions, export bans, and licensing obligations early. Every country where Cicor operates has controls for the export and transfer of its goods. As a global company, Cicor is responsible for respecting and complying with each of these controls. Our export compliance policies define our processes to ensure compliance with all relevant export control laws and regulations. These processes are complemented by active sanctions list screening.

Reporting & Whistleblowing

Reporting Violation

The Cicor Group has established a whistleblower system that allows employees, customers, and all other stakeholders of the group to report compliance violations and concerns.

Compliance with our standards, legal regulations, and internal policies is of the utmost priority. As a company, we have a responsibility to society and the environment as part of our business activities. We aim to be a reliable and fair business partner and employer. To meet this standard, it is essential that we are informed of potential misconduct. Only then can we take measures to protect all parties involved in our company. Our whistleblower system can be used to report potential misconduct and is open to all stakeholders of the Cicor Group.

The Cicor Group’s whistleblower system, the Cicor Integrity Line, provides the opportunity to share concerns and other reports through the following channels. All reports can also be submitted anonymously.
