Cicor MedTec is a multidisciplinary product development design and engineering company focused on the development of active medical devices.
Hardware Engineer
A typical project usually starts with a feasibility study which implies research and investigation of different implementation options, giving you the opportunity to innovate and influence the product concept.
Subsequent stages involve a mixture of detailed electronic design work, optimal component selection, schematic capture, circuit simulation, layout consultation, EMC performance optimization, prototyping, hardware debugging and analysis. After the industrialization process, the final version of the design is manufactured at one of our production facilities.
During all the design stages there is a strong collaboration with the mechanical and software team to ensure the implementation of the optimal solution in both technical and timely manner.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Analyze product requirements and translate them into board level architecture and schematic.
- Develop high-quality and low-power, miniaturized electronic systems, including multiple sensors, microcontrollers and wireless communication, as part of a multi-disciplinary team of software developers and mechanical engineers.
- Perform prototype testing and iterative design refinements.
- Document the design, development and testing activities in accordance to medical device regulations (ISO 13485, CE MDR 2017/745, and IEC 60601-1).
- Undertake design feasibility studies and investigations, identifying and evaluating possible implementations for the customer requirements.
Essential Qualifications
- Improve device development model in close collaboration with our Project Management Competency manager and improve our portfolio overview.
- Drive development and implementation of tools and processes to support project execution effectiveness, planning and predictability.
The Experience You Will Bring
- Master’s degree in Electronics or Electrical engineering
- Strong proven ability in electronic design with a broad range of analogue and digital electronics design experience (3 years)
